Monterey Bay Communications carries Hewlett-Packard 743 & 744 VME Single Board Computers. The Model HP 744 VME Board Computers are based on the PA 7300LC CPU. The Model HP 743 VME Board Computers are based on the PA 7100LC CPU. Running HP-UX operating systems, they are typically installed in an HP VME backplane

Each board computer is complete with the core I/O of an HP-PA workstation in a single-slot VME solution with expandability for more I/O or RAM in a two-slot or three-slot VME solution. The core design includes application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) that add VME and real-time features.
